چکیده
A357-SiCp/A357 layered composites were prepared using a semi-solid vacuum stirring suction casting method. The microstructures, mechanical properties, and thermal conductivities of the fabricated under different processes compared. Additionally, microstructural evolution characteristics performance enhancement mechanism discussed. results demonstrate that at 610 °C with low solid phase ratio can significantly enhance material density reduce agglomeration SiCp. interface is clear straight good bonding. With an increase in temperature, bending resistance conductivity exhibit trend first then slowly decrease owing to defects, bonding, SiCp distribution. Compared SiCp/A357 composites, strength, deflection, from 257 MPa, 1.07 mm, 155.72 W·(m·K)−1 298 2.1 169.86 W·(m·K)−1, respectively. This study provides reference for improving rheological aluminum matrix composites.

Optimization of Microstructure and Mechanical Properties of Al-A360 Produced by Semi-Solid Casting
Semi-Solid Casting (SSM) is a new process that could produce globular structures with mechanical properties. The cooling slope method (CLM) is a one of this process that was employed to produce the A360 feedstock. In this method, The dendritic primary phase in the conventionally cast A356 alloy has transformed into a non-dendritic one. In this paper, The molten alloy with the temperature (PT) o...

THE EFFECT OF COBALT ADDITIVE ON MICROSTRUCTURE AND PROPERTIES OF W-CU COMPOSITES PREPARED BY SINTERING AND INFILTRATION PROCESSES
In the present paper, the influence of cobalt additive on the sintering/infiltration behavior of W-Cu composite was studied. For this purpose, the mixed powders of tungsten and cobalt were compacted by CIP method and then sintered at 1450, 1550 and 1600 °C in a hydrogen atmosphere. The sintered specimens at 1550 °C were subsequently infiltrated with liquid copper at 1250 °C for 10, 60 and 1...

Compound casting refers to a process that used to produce bimetals. This study investigates the interface of Mo40/C93200 that is produced by compound casting process. In this research, molten bronze is poured around steel core, interaction between liquid and solid creates a diffusion zone and followed by a transition layer which leads to the creation of diffused region between the interfaces of...
